Crystal armor is listed as bis for the inferno because of its higher range def and prayer bonus. Also a lot of people are using bowfa because they probably don't have t bow. As others have mentioned, it's because the range defense and prayer bonus is more then arma. I did crystal armor with tbow for the added range defense.IMO muspah is one of the more fun bosses, would recommend. Try going for raids, toa is easy to learn and good to do solo aswell. Now the Muspah avg GP per hour is 3.9m instead of 5.6m the last time I checked. Crazy. Bowfa is really good at Muspah, you can learn the Kite mechanic, or learn the freeze one.I've just camped crystal and not brought the arma in. Crystal bow destroys rcb at bandos no matter the method. Upon dps calc, you are in fact right my good sir. 6:0 is the worst range method to use at bandos because of how many tics you lose in the cycle as it’s the longest cycle. But 7:0 / 9:0 are waaay sweatier. 6:0 is no tick loss and no inv lost to cannon base.

Having just finished SotE. The real power of BOWFA comes from the armor + bow combination. From CG the arm seeds are 1/50 drop rate, which averages 300kc for all 6. At 300kc you should be at 2k shards at least.
