Ford has come out with a new TSB regarding the warmup strategy of the front diff/IWE system. I wouldn't really expect them to do this just by customer request unless there is a problem.

An IWE is an axle/wheel assembly that has a locking ring over the hub side and fits over the axle. It locks, and the hub is pulled over the axle when it's locked. Ford has redesigned this system to eliminate water ingestion and prevent grinding noise.
